Auctus Training Solutions Limited (ATS) are dedicated to constantly improving and maintaining its environmental and sustainability policies and procedures in order to lesson the impact of our practices on the environment/stakeholders.

Energy & Carbon

Our company is committed to reducing our fleets CO2 emissions by introducing a state of the art telematics system into each vehicle.

In order to combat C02 emissions we have implemented a system into our fleet that monitors the drivers speed, location, braking, fuel consumption, mileage and emissions as well as real-time traffic. This information enables the company to observe which vehicles are having the most impact on the environment and in which areas the vehicle/driver needs to improve on in order to reduce fuel/vehicle maintenance costs and C02 emissions.

The company actively encourages staff members to work in conjunction with local recycling firms to ensure that all aluminium cans and paper wastages are recycled, with all proceeds given to charity.

In order to further reduce the companies reliance on paper we have invested in a number of tablets that enable our contractors to use interactive forms whilst on-site. The software allows our contractors to place their signature onto the document in order to ensure that the company has full traceability and accountability for auditing purposes.

All used Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is reused for the Auctus ATA apprentices as well as being donated to our partner rail heritage sites Seven Valley Railway and Chasewater.

Bio-Diversity & Ecology

We are committed to finding sustainable solutions to solving the environmental problems that are impacting on Bio-diversity and Ecology.

In order to ensure that we do not disturb or impact local wildlife we have introduced various measures that enable our contractors to remain vigilant at all times of the repercussions of their actions. Auctus Training Solutions, a subsidiary of the Auctus Management Group, has its own in-house trainers who train our operatives with the skills and knowledge on how to safely remove Asbestos as well as teach them about the importance of protecting the environment.

Noise Pollution

We actively encourage the rail industry to adopt industry leading technology such as LOWS & ATWS to help reduce noise pollution.

Track maintenance is an important service required to ensure that the UK’s economy keeps growing. The UK’s Rail infrastructure is expanding exponentially and will inevitably result in rail roads being built near to residential areas. However, we do appreciate that the noise resulting from the work-sites can be frustrating for residents who live near by and this is why we supply both Lookout Operated Warning Systems and Automatic Track Warning Systems that limits the noise to either a short siren or a series of short sharp blasts on the horn. These warning sounds are important for the workers to hear as it ensures that they are aware of fast-moving on-coming trains which enables them to get into a position of safety, without these warnings rail workers would be at serious risk of being injured.

Supply Chain Management

We actively engage with our supply chain to ensure that they are adopting policies and procedures that are in line with our Corporate Social Responsibility model.

We believe that businesses are responsible for their environmental practice and operating in an ethical and sustainable manner.
